Her gift showed up around age fifteen. She'd know things about friends before they said them, sense what people were feeling beneath their words, and have dreams or strong feelings about things that later came true. When she began reading Tarot for friends, she noticed the cards kept connecting to situations she knew little about, and that's when she decided to understand and develop the gift in earnest.

It runs in her family. Stella's mother is a professional psychic, and later in life Stella had the chance to do one-on-one mentorship with her, learning to trust her impressions instead of second-guessing them and to pair the cards with her natural empathic abilities. She's also spent years growing through meditation, grounding, study, and simply doing the work.
