I work with two guides. One of them has been with me since birth. I started to notice her during early childhood. Her energy is calm and motherly—she’s always telling me to slow down and appreciate all that is around me. The other spirit guide was also my grandmother’s spirit guide, which I acquired after her passing. From him, I get more of a fiery, protective energy—one that is not afraid and is usually going where others fear to tread. He is constantly pushing my boundaries and asking me to grow. It is a very intense energy, and sometimes it takes a lot out of me to deal with him.

My physical body is very involved in every reading that I do. I get a tingly feeling on the back of my neck when my guides’ messages are being delivered through me as intended. It’s a sense of them saying, “Well done.” The physical feelings I get are a kind of validation that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. My sense of smell alerts me to negative energies, and my stomach twists when I sense something was incorrect and needs to be clarified or expanded upon. For instance, if my message is not very clear, my stomach will feel all over the place.

I often have clients touch one of their arms as I touch mine. This strengthens the energetic connection and gives us both goosebumps.

Very early. My parents got divorced when I was eight, and as an effort to not take any sides, I moved in with my grandmother, who was a practitioner of Santería or Cuban Voodoo. She had a small practice at the back of the house, and I often gave people readings while they were sitting in the living room waiting for their turn to speak with her.

The more I practiced and tapped into that “feel” of spirit, the better I became. Eventually, my readings were so accurate that by the time I was done with her clients, they no longer needed to speak with her!

Yes, my grandmother gifted me my first deck of tarot cards when I was eleven. My parents were not very supportive of my practice but eventually understood that this was my calling. My grandmother was not only my mentor but also a catalyst to it all.

Yes. Life happens, and sometimes we can’t control it. For example, when the recession hit in 2008, I was in private banking and changed my career. This sudden shift led me back to helping people with my spiritual skills. This meant bringing life back to what I was a natural at, and I’ve been helping people with my gifts ever since.

Oh, I’m surprised all the time! The detail of the information I receive from my guides amuses me—I often receive first names and specific dates.

I do not. I barely take out my grandmother’s tarot deck that I got when I was eleven. That deck is reserved for special clients only to assist during longer sessions and only when it feels “right.” Tools are not a part of my spiritual practice and connection. I am not a tarot reader.

First of all, I’m an organic farmer, so nutrition is vital. I’m a firm believer in earthing and pranayama yogic breath. In between heavy sessions, I will go outside barefoot and plug myself into mother nature to release and recharge my energy.

I recently had a mother come in after losing her seventeen-year-old a week earlier to a Fentanyl overdose. She was looking for much-needed closure. A spirit guided me to the name “Andrew,” and I asked her if that name was significant. It turns out that Andrew was her son’s best friend and her son’s drug dealer. After confronting Andrew with the help of authorities, they could locate Andrew’s dealer, which also happened to be a human trafficker. About three months later, the mother called me back to thank me for helping her get justice for her son’s death.

I am one of the few psychics on this service that does not use any tools in my readings. All information comes directly from spirit and my spirit guides.
