Channeling is the practice of allowing a spirit, guide, or other non-physical entity to communicate through the channeler, either by speaking through them directly or by relaying messages received from that presence. It's related to mediumship, but channeling can involve a wider range of entities, not only spirits of the deceased, including spirit guides or other non-physical sources.

Depending on the practitioner, channeling can look very different from one session to another, from a subtle shift in tone and word choice to a more pronounced change in voice or mannerism while the message comes through.
